Did the half day trip and had such a blast! Raquel was a great and fun guide. I am traveling solo so going out with a group and stopping for fika was really fun and nice to meet people from all over. We had such a lovely time exploring Vaxholm and the Stockholm archipelago by bike! My husband and I really enjoyed cycling through the different islands and taking in the beautiful scenery along the way.

Our guide, Jacob, was super friendly, funny and made the whole experience even better. We also stopped for a little picnic and got to enjoy a traditional Swedish fika, which was such a nice touch!

Great Trip, Lovely Folks

It turned out we did two activities with these guys - a day’s bike hire plus a week’s equipment hire for an independent kayaking tour. Friendly and super helpful staff gave us some great tips on where to go in both cases

For the kayaking it was all very well organised and we got everything we needed from them, the kayak etc plus all the camping equipment - everything was in great condition and ideal for the trip we did

The area is lovely - we managed nearly 100k kayaking over seven days a which enabled us to get to some of the quieter islands further east. It’s a stunning area and one we will happily return to in the future - so many options for where to go.

We also had time to do a couple of nature trails on two of the larger islands, which added a welcome bit of variety. And had two nice lunches as a treat - I think we earned them

Super kayaking experience.
This is a superb outfit with proper kayaks/canoes (no sit-on-tops!!). The staff and guides are super friendly and professional,  both in the office on Hamngatan in Vaxholm and at the actual canoe centre. It's an easy 10 minute bus ride, bus 670, from Vaxholm Harbour (or from Stockholm itself). Whether you are looking for a half-day trip, some serious multi-day island hopping in the archipelago or a guided tour, these guys will set you up with all the necessary maps and equipment. As an experienced sea kayaker I was truly impressed.  I did one group trip, one private guided trip and then spent a day on my own. Excellent few days' paddling and worth the money. I saw lots and lots of families, couples and big pro groups who had been out for days so they really do cater for all needs. 3 jours fabuleux dans l’archipel : nous avons été très bien conseillés pour un itinéraire qui corresponde à notre niveau.
Les lieux de bivouac sont parfaits et on peut facilement y faire du feu.
