Our kayak center specializes in overnight kayak rentals, expeditions and kayaking holidays in Sweden. We have a selection of single and double expedition kayaks as well as top notch camping gear included in our self-guided tour packages. If you feel comfortable paddling on your own we’re happy to outfit you with the gear you need to explore Stockholm Archipelago. Launch from our waterfront kayak Rental Base, zero metres from the sea!

About multiday rentals

Rental time: from 24 hours to 14 days (contact us for longer rentals)
About 24 hours rental: pick up the gear at 17:30 before we close the rental and return the next day before 17:30, please book the equipment only for 1 day (the following day) and write in the comment that you will pick up in the evening
Pick up / return time: any time during our working hour, please plan your return so that you have time to unpack and wash your kayak (at least 30 – 45 min)
Pick up/return spot: Skärgårdens Kanotcenter Resarövägen 10, 185 51 Resarö
Rental includes: kayak / canoe / SUP, paddle, life jacket, sprayskirt if appropriate, basic map, small dry bag for mobile / documents, safety and navigation briefing, storage for your empty suitcase / backpack (we provide kayaking and safety gear for paddlers up to 110 kg)
Multiday canoe rental: canoes are designed to explore the inner, sheltered waters, if you are planning the trip for longer than 2 – 3 days and discover more distant islands, you should book our expedition kayak
Extra gear available to rent depending on your paddling plans: maps 1:50.000, safety and spare gear, camping gear, check the list of what you may need >

Few important points

Before rental:

Read our General terms & conditions.
A waiver of liability must be signed prior to departure. Have your ID or passport with you.
Make sure you and all of your friends know kayaking rescue technique →
If you are planning a longer trip or if you have no experience and need an extended briefing and route consultation, let us know about your arrival time (weekends and mornings we are usually very busy and we ask for patience or avoiding this time).

During paddling:

Rental time includes safety briefing and route consultation with us.
You are responsible for the gear. The rented equipment must be returned in the same condition as when you received it. In case of lost or damaged equipment you must pay what it costs to replace it.
Please make sure your insurances are valid.

When you are back:

Clean equipment (kayak / canoe / SUP) with the sponge and water available at our place. If you prefer us to clean it, we charge 200 SEK / gear. Hang up the life vest and return the rest of equipment.
