What to Expect

Your tour begins at Hamngatan 1 in central Vaxholm, where you’ll meet your local guide and the rest of the group. After a short welcome, we adjust the bikes and helmets, go through the route, and set off at a relaxed pace.

We start by riding through the charming streets and waterfront areas of Vaxholm, one of the most loved towns in the Stockholm Archipelago. Along the way, your guide shares stories about local life, Swedish traditions, and the island’s connection to the sea.

One of the highlights of this tour is rolling onto a local ferry with your bike and crossing the water the way island residents do. It’s a simple but memorable part of archipelago life, with fresh sea air, open views, and plenty of time to enjoy the moment.

After the ferry crossing, we continue by bike through the quieter islands of Rindö and Fredriksborg. Expect peaceful roads, red cottages, pine trees, coastlines, and scenic viewpoints that feel far away from the city, even though you are still close to Stockholm.
