What to Expect

Your tour begins at Hamngatan 1 in central Vaxholm, where you’ll meet your local guide and the rest of the group. After a short welcome, we make sure everyone is comfortable with their bike and helmet before setting off at an easy pace.

We leave the busiest areas behind and ride through charming neighborhoods, quiet streets, and local corners of Vaxholm that many visitors never see. The route is relaxed and designed for curious travelers who want to experience the island beyond the main tourist spots.

During the ride, your guide shares stories about Vaxholm, Swedish traditions, everyday island life, and what makes this part of the archipelago so special. It’s an easy way to understand more about the place you’re exploring, not just pass through it.

Along the way, we stop for a traditional Swedish fika outdoors. Enjoy coffee and something sweet by the sea while taking in the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.

After fika, we continue the ride back toward the meeting point in Vaxholm. You’ll finish with fresh air, local stories, photo-worthy moments, and a better feel for life in the archipelago.
