Time: about 3 hours by kayak + optional breaks for swimming / picnic / hiking
Level: beginners friendly

Discover the beauty of inner archipelago by kayak or canoe. Paddle through maginificent Bogesund – a place where for about 1000 years ago Vikings were living. Now it’s nature reserve with green meadows, old oak trees and farms with horses. Paddling silently by narrow fjord is great chance to spot beavers. Don’t forget to look around. An osprey or a white-tailed sea eagle may just fly above your head. You can also spot other coastal birds including among others: oystercatchers, grey heron, lapwing, cormorant, seagulls.

Sheltered water, without traffic of ferries and bigger vessels are beginners friendly and will be perfect choice for family kayaking trip with outdoor picnic. There are few nice spots to make a break for bbq, swimming and even short hiking. You can extend this route by paddling also around small island called Bullerholmen.

*You should always adjust the route to your (and your friends) kayaking skills, experience as well as sea and weather conditions.
