Senior Sea Kayak Guide

We are seeking passionate and experienced sea kayak guides to join our team for a year-round employment on a full-time contract.
Your Role

You’re a core leader within our guiding team and a key part of daily operations. As a Senior Sea Kayak Guide, you lead advanced and multi-guide tours, take ownership of safety decisions, and ensure consistently high quality guest experiences. You coordinate guides on the water, mentor developing staff, and play an active role in training, supervision, and operational flow. This is a highly independent role for an experienced guide who thrives on responsibility, leadership, and teamwork.

  • Advanced sea kayaking certifications (EPP, BCU, 2–3 stars+) or equivalent skills
  • Minimum 3+ seasons of experience in the outdoor guiding industry
  • Extensive experience as a commercial sea kayaking guide
  • Experience coordinating a small team of guides
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, and training other guides
  • Extensive local knowledge of Sweden and the Stockholm Archipelago or willingness to learn
  • Strong leadership, risk assessment, and decision-making skills
  • Calm, solution-oriented approach with clear communication
  • Valid advanced first aid certification
  • Fluent English; other languages a plus
  • Driver’s license
  • Valid EU work permit
  • Full-time, year-round employment (fastanställning)

Sea Kayak & Activity Guide – Summer & Winter

We are looking for Sea Kayaking Leaders to guide half-day kayak tours and occasionally—depending on your experience and skills—overnight tours and kayaking courses.
Your Role

You independently lead kayak tours, ensuring safety, engagement, and memorable experiences. Summer tours are busy and energetic, while winter tours demand confidence in colder, changing conditions. You’re confident managing groups, reading conditions, and adapting plans as needed. You support junior guides, handle logistics, and represent the company with professionalism on every tour.

  • Recognized sea kayaking guide certification (EPP, BCU, or equivalent, 2 3 stars recommended)
  • 2+ seasons of previous experience guiding sea kayaking tours commercially
  • Current First Aid certification
  • Passion for kayaking, outdoor activities, nature, wildlife, and local history
  • Local knowledge of Sweden and the Stockholm Archipelago or willingness to learn
  • Strong group management and guest communication skills
  • Ability to assess risk and make sound decisions in all conditions
  • Reliable, adaptable, and confident working independently
  • Driver’s license (trailer for winter positions advantageous)
  • Fluent English; other languages a plus

Junior Sea Kayak & Activity Guide – Summer & Winter

We are looking for beginner Sea Kayaking guides for relaxed half-day kayak tours and kayaking courses.
Your Role

This is a hands-on learning role for guides early in their career. You lead simple kayak tours in calm conditions and support senior guides on more advanced trips. You assist with safety, logistics, and guest care while building confidence, experience, and independence throughout the season.

  • Entry-level sea kayaking guide training or certification
  • Some practical kayaking or outdoor guiding experience
  • Valid first aid certification
  • Junior Sea Kayak & Activity Guide
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take feedback on board
  • Positive, responsible attitude with guests and team
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
  • Passion for kayaking, outdoor activities, nature, wildlife, and history
  • Communicative English; other languages a plus.
  • Local knowledge of Sweden and the Stockholm Archipelago or willingness to learn
