Enjoy Stockholm Archipelago in the glow of the sunset light. Perfect and relaxing, it’s the ideal activity for the end of the day. Join us for an unforgettable evening adventure!
Join us on this extraordinary adventure, where the Stockholm Archipelago becomes not just a destination, but a journey of the soul.
The Sunset Kayak Tour in the Stockholm Archipelago is truly a spectacular experience. Take in the serenity of the archipelago as the sun sets, casting a mesmerizing glow over the calm seas.
We glide along the nearby waters, embracing the tranquil and relaxing evening filled with the wonderful scents of nature. Along the way, we quietly savor our surroundings at a leisurely pace, which is a bit slower than our normal 4-hour Archipelago Kayak Tour. While the setting sun is the highlight of this tour, wildlife viewing is always on our agenda. Keep an eye out for native wildlife, including beavers, seals, roe deer, and coastal birds.
The greatest advantage of the sunset kayak tour is undoubtedly the peaceful waters. With fewer boats out at this time of day, you can fully immerse yourself in the spectacular natural environment, just 30 minutes from Stockholm.
Additionally, after paddling, you have the option to enhance your experience by booking a traditional sauna session, adding an extra touch of relaxation to your adventure.

Frequently asked questions
Outdoor clothes should be chosen based on the weather forecast. Avoid cotton and opt for quick-drying fabrics or merino wool instead. Quick-dry hiking pants or shorts, a thermal top, and wet shoes or sandals with proper straps (shoes you don’t mind getting wet) are recommended. Make sure to pack a fleece too, just in case it gets chilly later in the day.
Kayaking is an adventure in any weather. In Sweden, we say, ‘There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes.’ You’ll be amazed at how enjoyable it can be to paddle, rain or shine (though let’s hope for more shine!). Just make sure to wear the right outdoor clothing and remember, you might get wet even when it’s not raining – that’s just part of the kayaking experience!
Additionally, we provide wind and waterproof kayak jackets. During thunderstorms or very strong winds, we may have to cancel or reschedule tours for safety reasons.
Sunset kayak tour is well-suited for beginners, and prior kayaking experience is not necessary. You must be at least 12 years old to take part in the tour. If you have younger participants in your group, we are happy to organize a private family tour for a more games and splashing-oriented experience.
Our kayak center is easily accessible and affordable via public transportation, with the bus stop located just 100 meters away. We highly recommend arriving by bus and returning by ferry for a scenic and enjoyable journey.
