Start your adventure from our waterfront kayak rental, zero metres from the sea

Rent a single or tandem kayak, canoe or Stand Up Paddle board for few hours up to full day. Check also multiday kayak rental for kayaking trips with overnight and expeditions. If you feel comfortable paddling on your own we’re happy to outfit you with the gear you need to explore Stockholm Archipelago. Launch from our waterfront kayak Rental Base and feel the tranquility, despite being just 30 minutes away from Stockholm.

About one-day rentals

Minimum rental time: 1 to 3 hours, book preferred time slot online
Full day rental: pick up and return rented gear any time during our working hours
About 24 hours rental: pick up the gear at 17:30 before we close the rental and return the next day before 17:30, please book the equipment only for 1 day (the following day) and write in the comment that you will pick up in the evening
Pick up/return spot: Skärgårdens Kanotcenter Resarövägen 10, 185 51 Resarö
Rental includes: kayak / canoe / SUP, paddle, life jacket, sprayskirt if appropriate, basic map, small dry bag for mobile / documents, safety briefing (we provide kayaking and safety gear for paddlers up to 110 kg)

Canoes and SUP are recommended when the wind is under 5 m/s
To determine if the wind is suitable for your skills, you can briefly say:
wind max 5-8 m/s: beginners, first time paddlers
wind 6-9 m/s: average paddlers without rescue technique (recommended double kayak for unsure paddlers)
wind 9-12 m/s: experienced kayakers with good rescue technique

Few important points

Before rental:

Read our General terms & conditions.
A waiver of liability must be signed prior to departure. Have your ID or passport with you.
Make sure you and all of your friends know kayaking rescue technique →
If you are planning a longer trip or if you have no experience and need an extended briefing and route consultation, let us know about your arrival time (weekends and mornings we are usually very busy and we ask for patience or avoiding this time).

During paddling:

Rental time includes safety briefing and route consultation with us.
You are responsible for the gear. The rented equipment must be returned in the same condition as when you received it. In case of lost or damaged equipment you must pay what it costs to replace it.
Please make sure your insurances are valid.

When you are back:

Clean equipment (kayak / canoe / SUP) with the sponge and water available at our place. If you prefer us to clean it, we charge 200 SEK / gear. Hang up the life vest and return the rest of equipment.
